About basketch
basketch compares the weekly grocery promotions across seven Swiss supermarkets — Migros, Coop, LIDL, ALDI, Denner, SPAR, Volg — and tells you which store wins this week, by category.
How it works
- 01
We collect current promotions from seven Swiss supermarkets up to three times a week — the exact date is on the deals page.
- 02
Each product is sorted into Fresh, Long-life or Household by an AI model, and a second AI model normally double-checks the answer. If the two still disagree, the deal is shown marked 'Category unverified'.
- 03
The verdict is ready right away. Browse all deals, or add items to a list and share it with whoever's shopping.
Data sources
Six of the seven stores are read straight from the retailer's own website or flyer. Coop is the exception — coop.ch blocks automated access, so Coop's prices come from aktionis.ch, a public Swiss deal site, instead.

Collected Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. If data is more than 9 days old, a banner on the home page tells you so.
What we compare
basketch compares weekly promotions, not regular shelf prices. Promotions change every week and are the reason you might switch stores. Regular prices are stable — you already know what milk costs.
